Ukraine returns bodies of 140 fallen defenders
On Friday, April 26, the bodies of 140 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine in the course of repatriation activities

Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported the information.
It noted that Ukraine managed to repatriate 112 bodies of defenders who fought in the Donetsk sector, 20 fallen soldiers in the Luhansk sector, 5 bodies from the Sumy sector, 2 fallen soldiers from the Zaporizhzhia sector and one from the Kherson sector.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport the repatriated bodies and remains to designated state institutions. Law enforcement officials and forensic experts will identify the victims. The bodies will then be handed over to the families for burial.

On April 12, the bodies of 99 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.
