Ukraine will lose without West's help

Aid to Ukraine will not be voted on in the US Congress until mid-January next year

Biden signed a temporary budget with no money for Ukraine. It's not just a daily allowance to support, it's weapons.

President Zelenskyy finally emerged from the virtual world into the real one and said that without this money, we will not survive. Because it will either go to the army or to social security.

These are the consequences. A year and a half of unbreakable diplomacy and unbreakable theft. As Mr. President said to Ben Wallace: "Do I have to thank you every morning?". You don't have to thank anymore. Because you don't notice the help when it just flows in a stream. Uncontrollably. But when it's not there, you would thank, but no one listens.

Of course, collectively the West will not let Ukraine fall. But we will have to put things in order a bit. Maybe we should stop pressuring business and not persecute investors. Maybe not to close down TV channels. Maybe we can consult with the opposition and create a government of unity. Maybe humanitarian aid shouldn't be stolen by the carload. Maybe local self-government should not be intimidated...

Maybe... prices will rise, the economy will weaken, the shortage of weapons will be covered by bodies and blood... And there is no one to blame: if you have concentrated everything in your hands, then you can only ask yourself. People who don't think strategically sooner or later find themselves in a crisis situation. Because people who played in shows, not chess, think that winning is just about making people laugh to death. But it doesn't work in life. In life, pawns and kings lose. Even if kings are the last to lose. There are still pawns... to protect the king. But there will be fewer and fewer of them...

P.S. Yes, and for the "children of nature", I will remind you once again: we will lose the war of attrition under equal conditions without powerful Western support with money and technology. This is a road to nowhere. Ukraine's mobilization resource is now 2 million. Russia's mobilization resource is 9 million. I'm not talking about partisan children and grandmothers in the trenches, I'm talking about real people who can fight.

And yes, wars are won by economies. Thinking that "everything will be fine" is a convenient escape from reality, but it is ineffective and temporary. We already thought that everything would be "okay", despite the fact that Putin has been forming armies for the invasion since 2019. It didn't work. It won't work now either. But instead of clear actions and clear steps, we hear about Maidan-3 again (maybe we haven't forgotten about the "coup d'état" of 1 December 2021, which never happened), and that the Yermak United News telethon is unbreakable and couldn't be better. Everything is natural in history. And history doesn't care what you think about yourself: it leaves healthy and strong societies to live on and build the future, and leaves the sick ones behind. Later, films and books are made about the heroism of the best representatives of this society. However, in foreign languages. Like Lord Byron about Mazepa.
