On Thursday, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski met with associates of President-elect Donald Trump: former U.S. Secretary of Defense Ryan D. McCarthy and retired General James McConville. Among other topics of conversation was support for Ukraine.
Trzaskowski posted a photo on X with former Secretary of Defense Ryan D. McCarthy and retired General James McConville, thanking them for the meeting.
“It is in Poland's interest to convince all those who influence the future American administration in Washington that maintaining the commitment to support Ukraine is essential for the stability of the continent and the strengthening of Poland's security. This is our national interest,” Trzaskowski wrote.
