144 clashes occur on Russian-Ukrainian front, Russian troops focus on Kurakhove sector

On November 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 37 out of 144 Russian attacks along the entire front line, with the heaviest activity occurring in the Kurakhove sector

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information as of 8 a.m. on November 15.

Yesterday, 144 combat clashes occurred along the entire front line.

"During the past 24 hours, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted two strikes on Russian manpower, weapons, and military equipment concentrations, and four ammunition depots," the report stated.

In the Kharkiv sector, four Russian attacks took place near the settlements of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian troops launched 11 attacks. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the Russian offensive near Holubivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zahryzov, Kruhlyakivka, Pershotravneve, and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled nine attacks near Katerynivka, Druzhelyubivka, Nevske, Terne, and Torske. Russia also carried out airstrikes near Serebrianska forestry.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Verkhniokamianske.

With aviation support in the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops unsuccessfully attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense near Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops, supported by aviation, carried out 11 attacks near Dylivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka. 

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 attacks of varying intensity near Promin, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pushkine, Zhovte, and Pustynka.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 37 attempts to break through near Berestky, Sontsivka, Illinka, Novoselidivka, Zorya, Dalne, and Kostiantynivka.

The Russian forces actively used aviation in the Vremivka sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 attacks near Makarivka, Yantarne, Rivnopil, and Novodarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, two clashes occurred near Novodanilivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, four Russian attacks were repelled.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

“Our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian invading troops, deplete Russian forces along the entire combat line and in the deep rear,” the General Staff added.

Russian attacks 

According to the updated information, yesterday, Russian troops carried out one missile strike on Ukrainian positions and settlements, deploying two missiles. In addition, Russian forces launched 50 airstrikes, in particular, dropped 103 guided bombs. Russian forces fired over 4,000 times, including 92 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russia carried out air strikes near 1 settlement in Kharkiv region; 13 in Donetsk region; and 3 more in Zaporizhzhia region.
