European Commission agrees to allocate EUR 4.1 billion to Ukraine
The European Commission has agreed to allocate EUR 4.1 billion to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility programme

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this.
According to him, the European Commission gave a positive assessment of the reforms and noted that the Ukrainian government had fulfilled the necessary indicators to receive this tranche.
‘We expect the EU Council to approve the decision as soon as possible. After that, the total amount of support under the Ukraine Facility for this year will amount to EUR 16.1 billion,’ Shmyhal added.
- In February, the Council of the European Union approved the launch of the Ukraine Facility programme with a total amount of EUR 50 billion for 2024-2027.
- In October, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that the next tranche of the Ukraine Facility programme would be disbursed to Kyiv by the end of 2024.
