Ukraine's Armed Forces among 20 most powerful world armies

This is evidenced by the rating of the international company Global Firepower, which annually compiles a list of the world's best armies.

"Ukraine's military power is being strengthened by the financial and material support of Western allies, particularly the United States. February 2024 marks two bloody years since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war," the review says.

The list includes 145 countries. The United States Army is at the top with an index of 0.0699, and Bhutan is in last place (6.3704). The ideal index is 0.0000.

Russia (0.0702) is in second place, and China (0.0706) is in third place.

The other top ten leaders are India (0.1023), South Korea (0.1416), the United Kingdom (0.1443), Japan (0.1601), Turkey (0.1697), Pakistan (0.1711), and Italy (0.1863).

In the ranking, Ukraine is "surrounded" by Israel at 17th place and Germany at 19th place.
