
Russian airstrike on Kramatorsk kills 18-year-old, injures two more
On the night of March 1, Russian forces launched an airstrike on a residential area in Kramatorsk, killing an 18-year-old boy and injuring two others
The Kramatorsk City Council reported the attack.
"On the night of March 1, Kramatorsk came under enemy fire — hitting a residential area. A boy born in 2006 was killed. Two others, a man and a woman, were injured," the statement said.
Authorities are assessing the destruction and damage. Emergency services are on-site.
The strikes were carried out using FAB-250 guided air bombs.
At least 20 private homes were damaged. Experts continue to inspect the area and determine the full impact.
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office provided further details: "An 18-year-old resident sustained fatal injuries. A 34-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman were wounded. Their diagnoses include blast and closed head trauma, a fracture, facial injuries, and bruises. They have received medical treatment. At the time of the shelling, they were outside their homes."
Under the procedural oversight of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into this war crime (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
