Ukraine has no resources to fight war for years – diplomat Chaly
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States (2015-2019), diplomat Valeriy Chaly discussed war scenarios and psychological fatigue of society
He shared his thoughts on Espreso TV.
Chaly emphasized that Ukrainians should not worry about the allocation of funds by the United States, as they should focus on the war: "We have to consider how to make sure that we do not give the enemy a chance to count on anything."
"I said two months ago, and I still say that the scenario will be the worst in terms of finances, but there will be help. Because politically, the US has invested in this, the only question is that the scenario is different and there are different types of war. One war that we see now is a trench war, where there are many casualties on both sides, the second is a war with high-tech weapons, and the third is when your allies are on your side and fight with you. The scenario can be different, the country's resources are not unlimited," the diplomat emphasized.

In his opinion, Ukraine will continue to get support.
"In order to achieve the plans of liberation of the territory, we need certain resources in military terms - equipment and mobilization resources. That is, we do not have, I reiterate, the resources to wage war for years. For some reason, they say that they have some prospects for 2025 - listen, the biggest problem is human fatigue, the biggest problem is that people want to live a normal life, and we have this problem, and the enemy has it. So let's do everything we can to make the best of it," he summarized.
