UK allocates GBP 15 million to help Ukrainians affected by war
The UK has announced GBP 36 million is being allocated for humanitarian aid to people in Ukraine, East Africa, and Syria.

This is stated in a press release on the website of the UK government.
Of GBP 36 million allocated for humanitarian aid, 15 million will be directed to Ukrainians who are in Ukraine and Poland.
"GBP 15 million will support up to 200,000 of the most vulnerable people affected by the Russian invasion. This includes children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. The international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps will work with grassroots civil society groups to provide emergency assistance to meet basic needs, including food, water and sanitation, psychological support, as well as childcare services", it is noted.
