The situation in Bakhmut is terrible, explosions are heard every minute — Espreso journalist Lagutenko about his trip to Bakhmut
Espreso journalist Artem Lagutenko claims there is no electricity, gas, heating, internet or mobile communication in Bakhmut
He said this on the Espresso TV channel.
"The situation in Bakhmut is terrible. People do not live there, they survive there. Bakhmut is a continuous battlefield, there is not a single safe house or street in the city. Explosions are heard every minute. Every minute Russian forces shell lands somewhere nearby. We can hear small arms battles on the outskirts of the city," noted Lagutenko.
The Espreso journalist also added that according to various sources, 5 to 8 thousand civilians still remain in Bakhmut, and people refuse to leave the city.
"There is no electricity, gas, heating, internet or mobile communication in Bakhmut. The only places where there is life are a few staging areas and facilities where humanitarian aid is distributed. It is very dangerous to be in Bakhmut. During the war, we visited many frontline settlements, but I have never experienced such a feeling as after Bakhmut. It's like walking through a minefield," added Lagutenko.
