Russia’s missiles, attack drones kill at least four in Ukraine

Aftermath of attack in Odesa region

Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported that Russian forces attacked Odesa region with Shaheds and missiles of the Kh-31P and Kh-22 type. The air defense system was working.

"One of the drones hit over the sea fell on the building of an enterprise in the coastal zone of Odesa, causing destruction and fire. A security guard was rescued from the damaged building, she was not injured," the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.

Later, the Southern Defense Forces reported that bodies of three people were found under the rubble.

Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region

In Dnipro, a multi-storey building was hit by a Shahed attack. On the afternoon of February 23, a man's body was recovered from the rubble of a building that had been hit by a drone.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

"Last night he was killed by Russians when he was just resting in his apartment. My sincere condolences to his family... The search for the woman who was probably at home at the time of the strike continues," he wrote.

At first, 4 people were reported injured, but later Lysak said that the number of injured increased to 8, seven of whom were hospitalized.

On the same night, Russia also continued shelling Nikopol district: "Artillery fire covered the district center, Myrivska and Chervonohryhorivska communities. Two enterprises and 3 private houses were damaged. Outbuildings were damaged. Power lines were hit. People are safe," local officials said.

Kharkiv region

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that at 23:15, the village of Mokra Rokytna in Kharkiv district was hit. 

A private agricultural enterprise was destroyed as a result of Russian drone strikes. Five hit sites were detected, and a warehouse hangar was damaged. Also, 15 cows were killed. 

Donetsk region

At night, around 00:40, the occupying Russian forces attacked the Myrnohrad community in Donetsk region.

There are dead and wounded among the civilians.
