Russian Su-34, which dropped bomb on Belgorod, flew to bomb Bakhmut – military expert Kyrychevskyi
Military expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi believes that the Russian Su-34 jet that accidentally released the bomb on Belgorod on April 20 was tasked with attacking Bakhmut
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
“If until now Belgorod was attacked because Kharkiv was being shelled from its territory, now it has received its retribution for Bakhmut. Because from the open data we have, we can find out that the bomb that fell in Belgorod was a concrete bomb weighing 500 kg. Its specificity lies in the fact that a jet accelerator is bolted to it in order to drive the bomb as deep as possible,” Kyrychevskyi explained.
The military expert suggested that the Su-34 with the bomb could have been flying in the direction of Bakhmut.
“Further, if we make logical assumptions about where the Russian Su-34 with such a very specific bomb could have been flying with this bomb, it is obvious that its target could have been Bakhmut. The reason that this bomb simply broke away from the warplane may be due to malfunctions with military aircraft in Russia,” he added.
