Ukrainian special forces strike Rosneft oil depot in Russia’s Kaluga region
On the night of January 18, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces successfully struck a Rosneft base in the settlement of Lyudinovo, Russia’s Kaluga region
The command of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces reported the information.
It is noted that this oil depot is part of JSC KalugaNefteProdukt and serves as a logistical hub that supplies the Russian Armed Forces units directly involved in the war against Ukraine.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the base’s premises, according to the Special Operations Forces. Detailed information about the results of the operation is being clarified.
“Strikes on such facilities create serious logistical problems for the invading Russian army,” commented the special forces.
NASA satellites detected the fire at the oil depot in Lyudinovo, as reported by the monitoring group Crimean Wind.
It is noted that the facility’s tank capacity is 5,400 m³, with an annual turnover of petroleum products amounting to 75,150 tons.
