According to Ukrainian defenders, Russian forces actively used armored vehicles to support the offensive to block Velyka Novosilka.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that they destroyed two Russian tanks and five armored vehicles.
“Despite the numerous losses in personnel, the enemy continues to assault on the outskirts of Velyka Novosilka. Soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are engaged in exhausting defensive battles,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the DeepState OSINT project said that Russian forces advanced in Kotlyne, Udachne, near Novoandriivka, Sukhi Yaly, Vremivka and Velyka Novosilka.
- Almost 200 combat clashes between the Russian and Ukrainian armies were registered at the frontline over the last day. Russia is most actively attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk sector.
