Russian propagandist Krasovsky hospitalized after alleged poisoning - media
The former director of the Russian propaganda TV channel Russia Today, Anton Kuznetsov-Krasovsky, has been hospitalized
Krasovsky wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
"People here asked if I was alive, if I was okay. What can I say? At the beginning of the week, I started to feel sick, then fainted. They took me to the clinic. I am gradually coming to my senses. Thank you all for your participation," Krasovsky wrote on the evening of December 24.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian media outlets Kyiv Post and Ukrainska Pravda, citing intelligence sources, reported that Krasovsky was poisoned.
Kyiv Post sources noted that the propagandist's condition "continues to deteriorate" and added that "it is likely that the last posts on the network were not written by the propagandist himself.”
The source of Ukrainska Pravda also said that the Russian propagandist was poisoned. The source did not say who was behind it or give any other details.
"A bad person did bad things, and on Christmas Day he became ill," the source quoted the Ukrainska Pravda as saying.
- Anton Krasovsky became "famous" for, among other things, calling for the drowning and burning of Ukrainian children on Russia Today. A case was opened against him in Ukraine on the grounds of public calls for genocide (Part 2 of Article 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), and it has already been sent to court.
- In addition, Krasovsky was previously found guilty under Part 3 of Article 109 (public calls for the violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power, committed through the use of mass media) and Part 2 of Article 442 (public calls for genocide, as well as the production of materials calling for genocide with the intent to distribute them or the distribution of such materials). He was sentenced in absentia to 5 years in prison.
