Russian invaders plan to use chemical weapons against fighters and civilians at Azovstal plant - Ukrainian intelligence
Russian invaders consider using chemical weapons against fighters and civilians located at Azovstal plant in Mariupol
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this.
According to preliminary data, the Russian army did not abandon plans to use chemical weapons against Ukrainian fighters and the civilians, who are now at the Azovstal plant.
According to the latest data, the Russian invaders may attempt to "smoke out" people from the plant's premises. They will do it to avoid losses among the military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.
Intelligence reports that the Russian army leadership plans to carry out bombing and missile strikes with artillery and aviation ammunition, carriers of military poisonous substances.
At the same time, the Russians plan to use aerosols with chemical weapons.
Putin's words in the published video fragment of his conversations with the Minister of Defense were taken out of context.
So the intelligence department believes that the phrase about "taking a siege of entry to the enterprise so that a fly does not pass by" should be taken precisely in the context. It means to prevent anyone from leaving the Azovstal catacombs alive.
Particularly after the use of chemical weapons.
Additional confirmation of Moscow’s plans for this is the spread by Russians of false information about the presence of chemical and biological weapons in Ukraine, as well as the selection and inspection by the Russians of possible places for storing ammunition (cylinders) with military poisonous substances.
