Russian Donetsk offensive continues despite high losses - Yaroslav Lysenko
Yaroslav Lysenko, a fighter with the Svoboda battalion, says the Russian offensive in the Donetsk region is continuing in three directions despite the fact that entire companies of Russian soldiers are being killed. He says one of the main difficulties for the attacking forces is the absence of dominant heights in the Bakhmut direction

He shared this information with Espreso TV.
"We are stopping the Russian onslaught, but they are advancing with the number of personnel and are still winning. They are dying like flies. They are dying in whole companies, but they continue to advance from three directions - Siversk, Bakhmut, as well as the Southern direction", Lysenko noted.
The fighter of the Svoboda battalion also added that the Ukrainian defenders have an advantage in terms of striking the enemy.
"They aim to knock out the entire set of ammunition towards the Ukrainian fighters. We aim to hit the enemy point with each projectile. We respond to their 20 shots with two well-hit ones", Lysenko stressed.
