This was reported by Zelenskyy's press service.

He emphasized that a lot has already been done by the DIU's soldiers both on land and at sea, and Russia is feeling the pain of the actions of Ukrainian intelligence officers.

"Today I would like to emphasize your success at sea - the defeat of a Russian missile ship. A complex operation at the Donuzlav Lake raid: six direct hits by naval drones on the hull of the Ivanovets. It was very strong. And I thank you for this strength!" the President emphasized, awarding the servicemen of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

For reference. According to the Militarnyi website, the Project 12411 boat Ivanovets was laid down and launched in 1989 at the Srednenevsky Shipyard in St. Petersburg. It is designed to combat enemy surface targets. For this purpose, the boat is armed with a 76-millimeter AK-176 artillery system and four launchers for P-270 Moskit anti-ship cruise missiles. The anti-aircraft component of the ship is represented by two six-barrel 30-mm AK-630M guns.

Destruction of the Russian missile boat Ivanovets

On the night of January 31-February 1, soldiers of the DIU's Group 13 special unit destroyed the Russian Black Sea Fleet's Ivanovets missile boat. The representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, called the operation a serious result.

The cost of the ship lost by the aggressor state is approximately USD 60-70 million dollars.

The Navy also said that, given the staffing level of 40 sailors, the consequences of the reduction of the Russian ship fleet are likely to be significant.
