Russia's main goal is to normalize terror: Zelenskyy on night attack on Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the latest massive attack on Ukraine and said that Russia's main goal is to normalize terror
He wrote this on Telegram.
"Russia's main goal is to normalize terror, to use the lack of sufficient air defense capabilities, and the determination of Ukraine's partners," the president said.
According to him, the Russians understand only the language of force. Instead, the only way to stop the terror of civilians is to make timely and effective decisions.
"Full protection of Ukrainian skies should become the norm so that the madmen in the Kremlin realize that their terror does not achieve its goals," Zelenskyy added.
Ukraine needs additional air defense systems, accelerated and expanded deliveries of F-16s, and all the necessary capabilities for its military.
"Only when Putin loses the ability to attack civilians and civilian infrastructure will he be forced to stop his terror. This is a test of humanity and determination for the free world. Either we will pass this test together, or the world will plunge into even greater destabilization and chaos," Zelenskyy added.
- On the evening of May 31 and at night of June 1, Russian troops fired missiles and Shaheds at Ukraine: in total, power facilities in 5 regions came under attack. Ukrainian air defense downed 81 aerial targets.
