Russia complains of Ukraine's UAV superiority – ISW
Russian military propagandists are griping about the superior capabilities of Ukrainian drones and electronic warfare (EW) on the battlefield
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported the information.
Recently, a Russian military blogger and former Storm-Z unit instructor detailed the issues Russian troops face against Ukrainian drones.
He claimed that the widespread use of Ukrainian drones is now a "leading factor" in Ukraine's combat capabilities.
"The milblogger claimed that Ukrainian assault groups have a 3-4:1 FPV drone advantage over Russian assault units, while Ukrainian mechanized groups have a 6-10:1 FPV drone advantage over comparable Russian units," the report states.
Additionally, Ukraine has specialized drone units within its ground forces, enhancing its ability to integrate reconnaissance and strike capabilities into tactical maneuvers.
In contrast, Russian forces lack a centralized drone system and sufficient EW and electronic intelligence capabilities.
Analysts believe that Ukrainian forces are better at integrating new technologies. Meanwhile, Russia will likely need to adapt similarly to keep up on the battlefield.
