Kursk operation: this game can be played by two
The Kursk operation, besides achieving military-political objectives, managed to accomplish purely military goals as well
It forced the Russian Armed Forces command to pull approximately 50,000 personnel and equipment to the Kursk region from eastern Ukraine. It also prevented an enemy advance from the north, disrupting the preparation and coordination of Moscow's forces in this area.
In addition, it demonstrated to our Western partners and to Russia's CSTO allies that Russia’s borders are porous, and that it lacks the resources to defend them.
“We can already say that the Kursk operation has achieved most of the objectives set by Ukraine’s military-political leadership.”
Asymmetric actions are one of the effective tactics in conditions of limited manpower and insufficient ammunition along the line of confrontation.
In any case, shifting the combat onto the aggressor’s territory is a critical factor.
We are not seizing foreign territories; we do not need them. We are showing that this game can be played by two.
