In 2024 Ukraine has caught up with Russia in kamikaze drone production

“In 2024, Ukraine has caught up with Russia in terms of the number of kamikaze drones produced, similar to Shahed-131 and Shahed-136, as well as in the production of other attack drones. “Everything that explodes in Russia is ours,” said Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin. And this is a fact,” Smetanin emphasized.

The head of Ukroboronprom said that this was made possible by the cooperation of state-owned companies with private ones.

At the same time, he emphasized that private companies alone cannot provide the required number of drones, which is why Ukroboronprom signs a license agreement with them, under which state-owned companies are involved in production.
