If Ukraine's government has a plan B...
We have very little time to start implementing Plan B, and if the government does not have one, it must start creating it immediately
Do you remember the other day when Kuleba said that we had no plan B if the West stopped giving us weapons?
Well, it seems that the West has clearly told us that Plan A is almost over. You have very little time to start implementing Plan B, and if the government doesn't have it, it must start creating it immediately.
There is very little time. A year, maybe a year and a half.
This is how I perceive the State Department's statement that Ukraine will no longer receive military support at the level of 2022-2023.
No matter how unpleasant it may be, this announcement of a reduction in military support is a call for the maturation of Ukrainian politics.
Either we create a powerful defense industry, economy, or - well, you know.
But a strong military-industrial complex is not Fedorov's initiative that Ukrainians should register with Diia (app that provides citizens with access to public services - ed.) and start making FPV drones at the Zhytomyr hub.
It should include:
- a complete change in the structure of economic, social and educational models
- deployment of enterprises, including underground, in bunkers and abroad
- it is a redistribution of budget funds from TV series and marathons to the needs of the army
- change of legislation and bringing effective managers to the state administration
It will not be easy and will require effort.
But this is exactly the path that Israel, South Korea, Singapore and other countries have taken to save themselves and their future.
I hope that the government has heard the signals and will begin to actively implement Plan B together with the political opposition, regional elites, business, the industrial sector and the military.
