Russia launches propaganda campaign in Crimea to support its military, locals do not respond
Occupying Russian forces in Crimea are trying to attract local residents to support their military, according to the National Resistance Center
"An information campaign to raise funds to support the Russians is currently underway in Crimea. Locals do not want to support the Russians who came to their land with war. The occupying Russian forces are trying their best to get people to help voluntarily, but to no avail. Therefore, the conditions for supporting the military will be implemented unofficially, by force," the National Resistance Center writes.
The agency notes that since February 24, 2022, the Russian authorities have been trying to force residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea to support their military.
Invading Russian forces urge local businesses to make discounts for military personnel, and "civil servants" are forced to give part of their salaries every month to help the Russian army.
