Russia launches PSYOP about Ukrainian army's losses near Selydove
Russian propaganda has launched a disinformation campaign about the alleged losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Selydove, Donetsk region
Commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops Oleksandr Tarnavskyi reported this.
"Attention! Russian disinformation! Russian propagandists have launched a disinformation campaign about the alleged losses of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Selydove in the Donetsk region. This is a Russian PSYOP. In this way, the enemy is diverting attention from its daily colossal losses in the Tavria sector," the brigadier general wrote.
According to Tarnavskyi, on February 12 alone, the Russians lost 645 people in the Tavria sector, and almost 3,000 in the previous week.
On Tuesday, February 13, at about 10:40 a.m., the Russians shelled the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region with Uragan MLRS. They hit the village of Tsukurine.
"The State Emergency Service officers examined the area and found that the shelling damaged two two-story apartment buildings on Svitla Street and a car. No one was injured or killed. Trust only official sources of information. We will win!" writes Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.
- Over the day, 84 combat engagements took place at the front. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 70 Russian attacks in 8 key areas and killed 1,090 soldiers.
- Invading Russian army is focused on establishing full control over the logistics routes in the north of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.
