Russia tries to establish control over logistics in northern Avdiivka
Invading Russian army is focused on establishing full control over logistics routes in the north of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region
Commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, said this.
"In the operational area of the Tavria operational-strategic group, the enemy is now focusing its main efforts on the Avdiivka sector. The intention of the Russian aggressors is clear: they primarily want to establish control over the logistics routes of supplying our units on the northern flank," the statement says.
Instead, according to the commander, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling the Russian enemy and continue to destroy their equipment and personnel. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are reinforcing the blockade line and setting up additional firing positions. Logistics supplies are still being carried out.
Total losses of the Russian Federation in the Avdiivka sector yesterday amounted to: 361 Russian soldiers and 13 units of military equipment, without taking into account UAVs, including two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, an artillery system, six vehicles and three units of special equipment.
