Russia brings 239 criminal cases against Crimeans for "discrediting Russian armed forces"

"Our citizens are being tried and fined under the so-called article on "fakes": 239 cases have already been brought in the occupied Crimea for allegedly discrediting the Russian armed forces, and 2 criminal sentences have been passed," she stressed.
Tamila Tasheva informed that most of the verdicts are not published in the Russian court registers s, but the total amount of fines issued by Russia is reportedly at least RUB 6.2 million.
"The resistance is not decreasing, but is progressing and transforming: in May, people were fined for commenting "no to war" or liking a post about the crimes of the Russian army, and now for singing Ukrainian songs and shouting "Glory to Ukraine!", "The Ukrainian Armed Forces are coming", "Ukraine is returning” slogans,” the permanent representative said.
