Putin is under illusion that he can win war with Ukraine
Psychologically, Russia isn't ready to lose in the Russia-Ukraine war. And as long as it has a significant military potential to continue this war, the Russian dictator will continue to believe in his winning chance
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg believes that Russia is preparing a new wave of offensive in Ukraine and urges not to underestimate the impact of the mobilization carried out in the Russian Federation. It is certain that the NATO Secretary General knows well what he is talking about. 2023 may become no less difficult for Ukrainians and Ukraine than 2022. It is impossible to 'pacify' Russia, and the countries of the collective West have already well understood this.
That is why the defense budgets of NATO member states are growing, and with them the rhetoric of the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, representatives of the US, the UK and the European Union is becoming tougher.
However, all this is clearly not enough for Ukraine. They help us just enough not to lose. But Ukraine needs much more help. So far, the West has refrained from it, believing that by creating the illusion for Putin that he can win this war, they will deter him from using nuclear weapons.
At the same time, everyone understands well that when the war turns into a positional state, it will exhaust not only the Russian Federation, but also Ukraine, which has already suffered heavy losses in more than 10 months of confrontation with the Russian military monster.
The West, like us, needs a guarantee of global peace and the preservation of the current world order. But a very important factor for us is joining the Western world and its main structures – NATO and the European Union – as soon as possible, which our partners are not in a hurry to do.

2023 poses a question for Ukraine - what are the military prospects in the near future? Apparently, in Washington, London and Brussels, Putin is expected to be replaced as a result of internal political processes in Russia, or due to natural factors.
Despite the fact that the intensity of military supplies from the West is still insufficient, they are still enough to prevent a large-scale offensive by the Russian Federation on all fronts and help us avoid a humanitarian catastrophe. This is the current reality, and one would very much like to hope that our Western allies will change their approaches in 2023.
For Ukraine, it is very important what factors could in the long run cause a breakthrough at the front, thereby accelerating the sooner defeat of the Russian aggressors.
The first one: this is a reduction in the available military equipment, weapons and ammunition, which will make it impossible for Russia to conduct intensive hostilities.
The second one: exhaustion of the mobilization resource, which in the Russian Federation is large, but by no means limitless.
The third one: insufficient amount of financial reserves in Moscow, which would allow it to continue during the war.
If we try to derive a formula for victory, it can be approximately as follows - to provide Ukraine with all the necessary amount of modern high-precision weapons. The Western world has been "swaying" for a long time, but now it is necessary for this process to finally really start.

After all, having the support of the military complex of the West, Ukrainian resources will not be exhausted, as Putin really hopes. Another thing is that all supply routes are still in the zone of possible impact by Russian missiles. Therefore, by 2023, additional priorities for Ukraine should be air defense and military aviation, the provision of which could radically change the situation in the direction of increased security on logistics routes.
It is clear that the West acts so carefully, because it takes into account all the risks of the danger of World War III, which can lead to the catastrophe of world civilization. At the same time, realizing that psychologically Russia is not ready to lose the war with Ukraine. And as long as it has a significant military potential to continue this war, the Russian dictator will continue to believe in his winning chance.
The stalemate on the fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian war strengthens the dictator's belief. He will try to change the state of affairs, which is not in his favor, hoping to win a war of attrition and force Ukraine to capitulate. Therefore, the warnings of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have a real basis.
“Only after receiving a sufficient number of modern aircraft, missiles and tanks from our allies, will we be able to expel from our land the army of war criminals, zombified by imperial propaganda.”
Although not everyone in America and Europe still realizes who they are actually dealing with in Russia. That the terrorist Putin regime has grown over the last twenty years on a criminal "culture", and this determines the criminal attempts of the occupiers on the part of the territory of Ukraine temporarily seized by them.
And only after receiving a sufficient number of modern planes, missiles and tanks from our allies, will we be able to expel from our land the army of war criminals zombified by imperial propaganda.
This is the question that should be raised with our allies from the start of 2023. The year is just beginning, and it must be the year of our victory over the Moscow invaders. After all, only the defeat of the Russian Empire can protect the world from the nuclear catastrophe that Putin so scares everyone with.
