This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The received equipment will speed up this process. It will take place at the same time. This state-of-the-art equipment will allow a comparative DNA test to be done within a day. At the moment, samples are taken from people. We can carry out 5 such analyses at once. The results will be stored on a flash drive and then compared with the samples that we select from the exhumed bodies. And we will make an automatic comparison", said the deputy head of the National Police in the Kharkiv region - the head of the investigative department Serhiy Bolvinov.

Thanks to the laboratory systems, the process of identification of bodies will be significantly accelerated, and the duration of DNA examinations will be shortened.

Until December 21, there was one mobile laboratory in Ukraine, now there are five of them.  Four are already working in the Kharkiv region.

Since the beginning of September, the police have exhumed more than 900 bodies on the territory of Izium district. The largest number of them were in Izium itself. 451 bodies were removed from the mass burial site. Approximately 200 more bodies are still being identified.
