Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the military leadership has been tasked with creating reserves so that defenders can recover from the fighting
He made the statement during a meeting with former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, as well as students and teachers of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
“People are not just important, they are the most important,” Zelenskyy said, noting that the Ukrainian army's most important resource “is the personnel that must be protected.”
Answering a question about the replenishment of the Ukrainian army, the president said that the military leadership had received a task to create reserves so that the defenders could recover from the fighting.
“Because it is difficult for various reasons - both the injury and the psychological state. It must be normal,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
According to the president, he cannot disclose the details of the mobilization processes, but the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff has made the relevant decisions, and the commanders are working on their implementation in their respective areas.
