Russia launches 5 air strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions and missile strike on critical infrastructure, bringing the day's total to over 20 MLRS attacks - General Staff

According to the General Staff’s report, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting an offensive in the Bakhmut direction, as well as conducting unsuccessful offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia, Avdiivka and Lyman directions.

Border areas: mortar and artillery attacks were made in the areas of Studenok, Doroshivka, and ten other settlements in the Sumy and Kharkiv region.

Kupiansk direction: the enemy fired on the areas of Petropavlivka, Tabaivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.

Lyman direction: Makiivka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka and Kuzmine in Luhansk region were shelled.

Bakhmut direction: 14 settlements were hit by enemy artillery. Among them are Verkhnekamianske, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka and Mayorsk in Donetsk region.

Avdiivka, Nevelske, Heorhiivka and Maryinka came under hostile fire.

Novopavlivka direction: Bohoyavlivka and Mykilske in the Donetsk region were shelled.

Zaporizhzhia direction: more than 16 settlements were hit by artillery fire, including 3 settlements in Donetsk region and 5 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

Kherson direction: occupiers do not stop terrorizing civilians. In particular, the areas of Dudchany, Monastyrske, Antonivka, Berehove, Yantarne and Kherson came under fire from multiple rocket launchers and cannon artillery. There were civilian casualties.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also notes that the enemy continues to suffer losses.

"Thus, trucks and cars with wounded Russian servicemen arrive daily at the city hospital of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. The number of neutralized occupiers is being clarified," says the evening report.

Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out 3 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel during the day.

At the same time, missile and artillery units hit 2 occupant concentration areas and 2 ammunition depots.

As a reminder, on January 22, 2023, the Russian forces fired twice at civilian buildings in different districts of the Kharkiv region.

Two women were killed and one man was wounded.
