This was reported by Espreso TV.

“The situation in the Donetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Kramatorsk directions is now very difficult. The last two weeks have been difficult and decisive. We are not allowing the Russian forces to advance, but they are trying to seize Maryinka, so it is very hot there. The situation in Bakhmut is also not easy, as the enemy strategically wants to occupy the positions of this city and gain a foothold, but all these efforts were unsuccessful. Our fighters repelled all offensive actions of the Russian troops and pushed them back a little,” the company commander of the Freedom Battalion said.

Yevhen Oropai noted that the shelling starts first, and then the occupiers send normal fighters or the Wagner PMC, or even newly mobilized soldiers.

“There are many prisoners. Many also come in poor condition with rags, and it can be seen from them that they are not fed, lack munitions and weapons. But at the same time, there are really a lot of enemies. Newly mobilized soldiers in one or two weeks already have certain skills. The enemy cannot be underestimated. Soldiers are being trained, and this is also difficult, because there is a large mass of them. However, we fight back the enemy and do everything to show a good result in the Bakhmut direction, which you will definitely find out after a while,” Oropai noted.

  • On October 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff announced that Ukrainian fighters repelled the Russian  attacks in the districts of Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Kurdiumivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Nevelske, and Ternova.

  • On October 27, Volodymyr Nazarenko, a fighter of the Freedom Legion of Ukraine's National Guard, noted that the enemy was not advancing in the Donetsk region and was suffering huge losses.
