Irpin's war losses estimated at over USD 900 million

During the occupation, about half of all buildings in Irpin were damaged. These are 10,500 buildings, of which 2,501 were completely destroyed or badly damaged.

The largest part of the damage concerns the housing stock, which was destroyed by 48% in the city, UAH 17.7 billion, of which UAH 11.6 billion were caused due to the destruction of apartment buildings in the city.

As KSE notes, Russia also caused significant damage to the social infrastructure: 53% of all social facilities in Irpin were destroyed. Damages were caused in the amount of UAH 3.7 billion, of which UAH 1.3 billion to educational institutions and UAH 236 million to medicine.

The destruction of a significant number of industrial infrastructure facilities is estimated at UAH 2.9 billion in damages. Another UAH 262.5 million are destroyed and damaged government, administrative buildings and police and post offices.
