In Kyiv and several other regions emergency blackouts are introduced

"Currently, emergency power cuts have been introduced in Kyiv city, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. This is necessary to maintain the stable operation of the power system," the report says.
According to the information, emergency blackouts were applied at night and in the morning in Sumy, Kharkiv and Poltava regions. Now they are suspended and planned blackouts continue to operate. But the current situation in the power grid may change, especially during the evening peak of electricity consumption.
Planned blackouts continue to operate in all other regions of Ukraine.
"There were new attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine at night. In Kyiv today, emergency shutdowns are applied in significant volumes. We will not be on schedule," Yasno energy supplier CEO Serhiy Kovalenko said on Facebook earlier.
The Kyiv city state administration also confirmed that emergency blackouts are being applied in Kyiv by order of Ukrenergo National Power Company.
As it is known, on Friday, November 11, planned power outages were introduced throughout Ukraine. The most significant restrictions were introduced in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.
