Heavy fighting south of Izyum, Russia tries to advance to Slovyansk and Kramatorsk - British intelligence

The British Ministry of Defense announced this on Twitter with links to its own intelligence.

"Russian forces are likely attempting to encircle heavily fortified Ukrainian positions in the east of Ukraine", the statement said.

Kreminna was captured by the Russians. Heavy fighting continues south of Izyum.  Russian troops try to advance into the cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk from the north and east.

At the same time, the Armed Forces are preparing the defense of Zaporizhzhya for a possible attack by Russia from the south.
