Zelenskyy signs decree on "impossibility of negotiations" with Putin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree stating that Ukraine will not conduct any negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"Taking into account the results of the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and after listening to the members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to state the impossibility of holding negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin," the message says.
At the same time, the decree recommends the Verkhovna Rada to adopt "relevant draft laws on appropriate sanctions and other response to escalation by Russia", and the government "in the conditions of escalation by Russia" to ensure the strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities "by increasing the supply of military-technical assistance to Ukraine".
