Ukraine will have to surrender Kharkiv in coming weeks: foreign fakes for April 11
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes and manipulations that foreign media produced on April 11
This is reported by Espreso.TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on April 11, one manipulation and two fakes appeared in the world.
Disinformation: Dutch journalist Sonia van den Ende wrote in an article for the website devend.online: “Unfortunately, it can be concluded that the US and especially NATO will try everything (all tactics - ed.) in Russia over Ukraine - riots, attacks, assassinations, drone attacks, pitting the population against each other and sanctions, i.e. the whole scenario as the US and NATO/EU did after the end of World War II.”
Manipulation: "The US is spending an astounding $80,000 per second on Ukraine, a country renowned for its corruption, all while 40 million Americans live in Poverty," Irish journalist Chay Bowes wrote on X.
Disinformation: Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said: “Russia is now dropping bombs on the center of Kharkiv, destroying these (Ukrainian - ed.) targets. This is the end of Kharkiv's ability to resist. I believe that Ukraine will have to surrender Kharkiv in the coming weeks.”
- Earlier, Russian propagandists spread a fake about the "possible encirclement of Kharkiv" with a call to evacuate the city by April 15, 2024.
