Ukraine, China discuss political settlement of war launched by Russia
Ambassador of Ukraine to China Pavlo Riabikin met with Assistant Foreign Minister of China Liu Bin, who assured of his country's readiness to maintain mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukraine

“Liu Bin noted that China and Ukraine are traditionally friendly countries, and China is ready to cooperate with Ukraine, develop Sino-Ukrainian relations and maintain mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
According to them, Ryabikin said that Ukraine appreciates the development of relations with China and is ready to actively promote exchanges at all levels and cooperation between the two countries.
"The parties also exchanged views on the political settlement of the 'Ukrainian crisis' (as China refers to the Russian war against Ukraine - ed.)," the Chinese Foreign Ministry added.
Liu, whose rank is equivalent to deputy minister, met with Ryabikin on October 8. The Ukrainian embassy has not yet informed about the meeting or the issues discussed.
