Europe confused over how to respond to Russia's involvement of North Korean troops in war - Espreso correspondent
Espreso correspondent Tetiana Vysotska noted that European politicians avoid commenting on claims about Russia involving North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine
She mentioned this on Espreso TV, saying, "European politicians are discussing Russia's use of North Korean troops in the war, but they're trying to distance themselves from this information publicly. In recent days, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has been asked several times about the possible involvement of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine. Each time, he responds that there is no official confirmation.
Vysotska also noted that they expect to receive information on this situation from South Korean intelligence next week," she said.
According to the correspondent, there are discussions on the sidelines of the European Parliament about deploying European troops to Ukraine.
"European politicians are uncertain how to react to Russia’s involvement of North Korean troops in the war. If North Korea joins Russia, it means a new force is entering the war. So, Europe needs to respond more decisively. Right now, there are discussions about Macron's earlier statement that European troops should be in Ukraine sooner or later," she emphasized.
