Anonymous government officials claim the United States is considering the possibility of transferring Bradley fighting vehicles to Ukraine as part of a further package of military support. However, the final decision has not yet been made.
It is noted that so far the White House has nothing to announce, but Washington is constantly in contact with Kyiv regarding the necessary assistance.
Former White House defense budget analyst Mark Cancian said that Bradley armored vehicles can significantly increase the combat capability of ground troops, as it is "in effect, a light tank." He added that unlike the M113 armored personnel carriers already received by Kyiv, Bradley is armed with a 25mm cannon and TOW anti-tank missiles, and the Pentagon has a large number of vehicles, some of which need to be upgraded.
