Russia lost three companies in the Tavria sector over the last day

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive in the Tavria sector. According to General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, enemy losses in this area amounted to three companies of soldiers and more than two dozen vehicles over the last day.

“Tavria direction. The advance of our forces continues. We have partial successes, the enemy is retreating in some places, and our soldiers are leveling the front. Missile troops and artillery units of the Tavria Defense Forces completed 1,222 firing missions over the last day. Over the last day, enemy losses in killed and wounded amounted to almost three companies. Twenty-one units of enemy military equipment were destroyed,” he said.

The destroyed equipment includes two armored personnel carriers, two Orlan-10 UAVs, a 2C1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher, and other vehicles. Five enemy munitions depots were also destroyed.

Ukrainian Armed Forces gain a foothold in the de-occupied territories in the Azov sector

Captain Valerii Prozapas said on Espreso TV that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are advancing in the Azov sector and are gaining ground in the de-occupied territories.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing in the Azov sector. We are fulfilling our tasks, our units are consolidating in the de-occupied territories. Our combat, firing, intelligence, and management capabilities have increased. In some elements of combat, the Russians are far behind us. This is due to the training of Ukrainian units and the assistance of Western partners,” noted Prozapas.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces captain, the Defense Forces are keeping under fire control all the frontline areas to be liberated.

Women's national team won the European Games pistol shooting competition

On June 28, Ukraine's women's shooting team, represented by Olena Kostevych, Anastasia Nimets and Yulia Korostylova, won gold in the team event at the European Games. In the 25-meter pistol final, Ukraine defeated Poland 16-10.

This is the third gold medal for the Ukrainian team at these competitions. On the previous days, Pavlo and Yuliia Korostylova won gold in the 25-meter pistol shooting. Olena Kostevych won bronze in the 10-meter air pistol event.

Croatia officially recognized the Holodomor as genocide 

The Croatian parliament has adopted a declaration recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“The Parliament of the Republic of Croatia has adopted a declaration recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people,” the statement reads.

Ukraine’s President thanked the country for this decision and emphasized that it was historic.

“The world will never accept the Kremlin's crimes, neither past nor present,” Zelenskyy wrote.

The Ministry of Justice starts confiscating assets of VS Energy owners

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to impose a sanction in the form of asset forfeiture on Alexander Babakov, Yevgeny Giner and Mykhail Voevodin. This was reported by Inna Bohatykh, Head of the Sanctions Policy Department of the Ministry of Justice.

“The main sanctions battle has begun! We are seizing the assets of the Russians - corporate rights in eight regional power distribution companies, six hotels, two steel plants, a shopping center in the center of the capital and 31 other legal entities. Also, cash of about USD 2.5 million dollars!” she wrote.

According to the head of the Sanctions Policy Department, Alexander Babakov is the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and one of the beneficiaries of VS ENERGY INTERNATIONAL N.V. (Netherlands), which owns a number of assets in Ukraine (energy, metallurgy, finance). He publicly supported the idea of death penalty on foreign nationals who resist Russian aggression and the recognition of the Azov regiment as a terrorist organization.

Mikhail Voevodin (criminal nickname 'Misha Luzhnitsky', 'Potap') is a crime boss. In the Luzhniki group, he is responsible for the power bloc, contacts with law enforcement officials and criminals (raider attacks on domestic enterprises, threats of physical violence, violent protests, robberies).

Yevgeny Giner is the former Deputy Speaker of the Council of the Russian Federation, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Interaction with Organizations of Compatriots Abroad. In Ukraine, he was the beneficial owner of a commercial bank, in the illegal group he is responsible for the economic component of doing business, organizing schemes for withdrawing funds abroad with their subsequent cashing, including using a controlled financial institution.

“The lawsuit is based on evidence obtained in criminal proceedings, information from intelligence and anti-corruption agencies, other government agencies, NGOs and public information,” said Bohatykh.
