Ukrainian army's firepower and combat capabilities increase – Сaptain Prozapas

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing in the Azov sector. We are fulfilling our tasks, our units are consolidating in the de-occupied territories. Our combat, firing, intelligence, and management capabilities have increased. In some elements of combat, the Russians are far behind us. This is due to the training of Ukrainian units and the assistance of Western partners,” noted Prozapas.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces captain, the Defense Forces are keeping under fire control all the frontline areas to be liberated.

“Obviously, the Russians have a backward army, but they have a lot of weapons, mines and personnel, even if they are untrained. The Russians have the capability to make fortifications and use firepower on the advancing Ukrainian units. The Ukrainian offensive will not be quick and easy. The battle map shows that the Ukrainian advance is slow but inevitable. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are keeping under fire control all the frontline areas that will have to be liberated,” Prozapas emphasized.

• Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that the settlements already liberated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were not the ”main event” - they were just the introduction to a major counteroffensive.

• Kostiantyn Denysov, a fighter with the Freedom Legion, noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' advance in the Zaporizhzhia sector is coming at a high price.
