Ukrainian forces advance in Tavria direction – General Tarnavskyi
Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, reports that Ukrainian Defense Forces are advancing in the Tavria direction
Tarnavskyi wrote about this on Telegram.
"In the Tavria direction, the work continues. Our defense forces are systematically defeating the Russian troops. Even though the enemy attacks from the air and lays minefields, our soldiers are making progress," wrote Tarnavskyi.
He mentioned that in the past day, the enemy attacked our positions 16 times and fired 650 rounds.
The general added that the artillery units of the Defense Forces in the Tavria direction completed 1,412 fire missions.
"During the last day, the enemy lost nearly two companies of killed and wounded soldiers. We also destroyed 25 units of the enemy's military equipment," Tarnavskyi said.
He specified that the destroyed equipment included 3 tanks, 1 armored personnel carrier (BBM), 3 units of BM-21 Grad rocket launchers, 1 UAV Orlan-10, 2 air defense systems Strela-10, 2 howitzers 2A65 Msta-B, 2 self-propelled artillery installations 2C3 Akatsiya, Giatsint-B gun, Giatsint-S gun, D-30 gun, 2K22 Tunguska, and automotive equipment.
Additionally, 3 enemy ammunition depots were destroyed.
