Ukraine doesn't freeze conflict with Russia - Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine does not agree to freeze the conflict with Russia
He said this during a speech at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council Summit. The video was published on Mr. Zelensky Telegram channel.
Russian troops should not stay in places where they are at present in case of a ceasefire.
"This does not mean that Russian troops will stand where they are now. This is a frozen conflict. We will not go into a frozen conflict," said Zelensky.
He added that Ukraine has already been in a situation where the Minsk agreements (international agreements which sought to end the war in Ukrainian Donbas - Ed.) led to a frozen conflict.
"I am against it, there will definitely be no such document. We did not abandon Minsk agreements, Russia abandoned them on February 24. They did, and Ukraine will definitely not go to such a swamp again", Zelensky assured.
