There will be no nuclear war - diplomat Omelyan
Diplomat Volodymyr Omelyan is convinced that Russia's nuclear threats are empty, and the scenario of Putin's order to use nuclear weapons has a probability of 0.01%
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
Volodymyr Omelyan commented on Russia's nuclear threats.
"These threats are simply empty, because today Putin is asking for Ukrainian guarantees not to destroy the Black Sea Fleet, so it is definitely not worth talking about the use of nuclear weapons by Russia. They are blackmailing the world by saying that Putin, in a fit of madness, will give the order to press the nuclear button at the last second, because the probability of such a scenario is 0.01%, because no one will carry out such an order. But as a scarecrow of the West, this thesis certainly exists and is widely circulated by the Kremlin that it is necessary to end this war in order to avoid a nuclear confrontation and prevent a nuclear strike. There will be no nuclear war," Omelyan assured.
