Territorial Defense fighter shoots down Russian missile from machine gun in Kyiv region

The machine gunner spotted the cruise missile and managed to open fire and damage it. After hitting, the fragments of the rocket fell in the middle of the field near the army positions.

“He reacted quickly, well done. You could see green sparks flying from the rocket. It started spinning when he hit it, and then fell with its tail,” the commander of the fighters' position said. 

According to him, although it is almost impossible to do, it has been done.
