Ukraine attacks Russian base in Skadovsk: official tells about losses and consequences
Skadovsk Mayor Oleksandr Yakovliev noted that on the morning of November 9, explosions were heard in the occupied city, followed by information about a strike on a Russian military base.
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"There was indeed a hit in Skadovsk yesterday. There was a hit to the office building of a former factory, which was converted into a hotel. After the occupation, the military were constantly staying and living there. They gathered for meetings in this building. There are reports of many deaths. And these are not random people, but servicemen," Yakovliev emphasized.
The mayor of Skadovsk also added that up to two dozen Russian soldiers were staying in the hotel.
"By the evening of November 9, not all the rubble had been cleared. The death toll is likely to increase," Yakovliev suggested.
The representative of the Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry said that preparations for a number of operations in Crimea are underway, and a loud hit occurred in Skadovsk.
"By the evening of November 9, not all the rubble had been cleared. The death toll is likely to increase," Yakovliev suggested.
