"The situation near Bakhmut is quite disturbing, our battalion is located south of Bakhmut, we are defending its southern outskirts. The enemy is trying to attack, but everything is under control. The situation in the north of Bakhmut is a bit tense, there is a threat of encirclement of Bakhmut. I don't believe in it, considering the amount of equipment and personnel that is now on the outskirts of Bakhmut. I can confidently say that we will not surrender Bakhmut, but it is disturbing. A huge Russian advance is expected in this area. Ukrainian defenders are energized not only for defense but also for victory. We hope that we will withstand all the enemy attacks in the Bakhmut sector and eventually launch an attack on Donetsk," emphasized Lysenko.

The Svoboda battalion fighter also added that the enemy's tactics are clear, and the Russians do not spare their people.

"We are studying the best examples of military science, tactics and strategy, and the enemy is experimenting with people. They go as if fearlessly, but in reality they just die senselessly. In three to four weeks, the Russians will see again that 1,500 of their soldiers per kilometer were killed when they attacked. Their tactics are clear to us, to seize our territories despite the deaths of their people," added Lysenko.
