Russians are moving Chechen Akhmat units closer to Marinka — Tavria Defenсe Forces spokesman
Valerii Shershen, spokesman for the joint press center of the Tavria defence forces, said that Russia is moving Chechen Akhmat units from Kherson to Marinka
He said this during a telethon.
Shershen noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 Russian attacks on the outskirts of Marinka, and that Akhmat Sever [North] and Akhmat Yug [South] units are being transferred to the town to reinforce Russian troops.
"In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all 14 enemy attacks in the vicinity of the town of Marinka. Units are being transferred here from the Kherson region to reinforce them, movement of Akhmat Yug units was spotted, Chechen Akhmat Sever units were also identified here, most likely they will rotate," he said.

On June 9, the Ukrainian Defence Forces shelled the area where Akhmat militants were concentrated in a training camp in the temporarily occupied Donetsk. The losses amounted to 56 soldiers.
