Russian troops declare they have no plans to leave ZNPP
The Kremlin has denied the statement of the Energoatom head Petro Kotin that there are signs of the withdrawal of the Russian military from the temporarily occupied ZNPP.
Russian propaganda media reported the statement.
Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that there are no signs that the Russian Federation is to leave the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
"Do not look for signs where there are none and cannot be any," said Peskov.
Russian propaganda media reports that the occupation administration of Enerhodar called Kotin's statement "fake" and declared that the Zaporizhzhia NPP remains under Russia’s control.
Russian representatives declared plans to create a backup source of energy supply at the ZNPP, and also said that works are currently underway to put two power units into hot shutdown mode to "supply heat" to the residents of Enerhodar.
After that, Russian forces plan to transfer the station's personnel under the jurisdiction of the Russian Rosatom state energy company.
"Employees, including operational staff, have signed labor agreements with the new employer. The staff receives salary debit cards from Promsvyazbank and, accordingly, a salary that is higher than in their previous contracts with Energoatom (state energy company of Ukraine)," Russian representatives claim.
